Ekaterina Platoshkina, a graduate student at Volga Region University, participated in a meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and young scientists and educators. The event took place in the new Belem Education Museum at KFU. Participants discussed increasing the public profile of teachers, measures to support them, and the importance of engaging young people in science.

Ekaterina has dedicated her life to advancing scientific knowledge in the field of sports. She is a third-year graduate student in Human and Animal Physiology. Last year, she won the Best Young Scientist of the Republic of Tatarstan competition in the category of Best Graduate Student in the Field of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her research paper, "Being a Great Athlete Is Part of Life, Not Your Whole Life," aims to support athletes who have retired from sports and need qualified assistance in adapting and socializing in modern society.

"The meeting with the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan was long-awaited and exciting. We had a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, which Rustam Nurgalievich answered with pleasure. The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the conversation with the Rais of Tatarstan was very pleasant and sincere," shared Ekaterina Platoshkina.

She also noted that she will continue writing her PhD dissertation and plans to defend it next year.
