Ilya Zemlenukhin, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences of Volga Region University, won the All-Russian contest ‘Golden Names of Higher School’ in the nomination ‘Young Scientific and Pedagogical Talents’. Ilya Zemlenukhin was among nine teachers of the Republic of Tatarstan whose names will be inscribed in the book of honour ‘Golden Names of Higher School’.
The competition was organised by the League of Higher School Teachers. The participants were 1224 representatives of 248 universities from 75 regions. Information about the winners is traditionally published in the Book of Honour of Russian Teachers. Copies of the book are distributed among legislative and executive authorities in the sphere of science and higher education.
‘The victory is not only my merit, but also the result of the work of the entire Volga Region University, my mentors and the Department of Theory and Methodology of Martial Arts. Participation in the competition allowed to show a high level of scientific and pedagogical activity and strengthen the position of Volga University in the educational community, - said Ilya Zemlenukhin. - My scientific activity is devoted to increasing the efficiency of the training process in wrestling - I strive to make the research bring practical benefits and contribute to the development of martial arts. At the university I teach disciplines related to my specialisation, I am the head of the student scientific circle. I am inspired by the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience, to see students‘ successes and to contribute to their professional growth’.
