Rector of the Volga Region University Rafis Burganov held a meeting with the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Sverdlovsk Region Leonid Rapoport.
Member of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region - Leonid Rapoport - is closely associated with educational activities. Being the author of more than two hundred scientific works, he prepared ten candidates of pedagogical sciences and headed the Department of Management in the field of physical culture and sports at the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B. N. Yeltsin.
At the meeting with the rector of the Volga Region University, the minister discussed the possibilities of the university, spoke about the Palace of Water Sports built not so long ago in Yekaterinburg, which has already hosted major national tournaments, and raised issues of implementing state policy in the field of physical culture and sports.
