An independent assessment of the quality of educational activity conditions is traditionally carried out to provide data on the level of organisation of work in implementing educational programmes on the basis of publicly available information.
The criteria for independent quality assessment include:
- openness and accessibility of the information on the organizations carrying out educational activity
- The conditions in which educational activities are carried out;
- The friendliness and politeness of the staff;
- Satisfaction with the conditions in which educational activities are carried out by organizations;
- accessibility for disabled people.
Volga Region University took part in independent quality assessment for the first time in 2021 and received high marks in all key indicators.
"The results of participation in the independent quality assessment are very important for the university, as they are taken into account in professional and public accreditation of educational programmes, competitive selection of universities, in the allocation of grants, and increase the competitiveness of the university and its implemented educational programmes," commented the head of education quality management department Venera Sultanova.
From May 29 to June 30 the first stage of independent quality assessment will take place - a survey of students (including those with disabilities).
