We are pleased to announce the launch of a grant competition for improving housing conditions. The program is aimed at supporting young scientists who have made significant contributions to the development of science in the region.
Young scientists who hold a candidate of science (under 35 years of age) or a doctor of science (under 40 years of age) and have worked in research, teaching, or technical positions for at least five years are invited to participate in the competition. They must also be registered in the social mortgage system of the Republic of Tatarstan and have signed a contract with a specialized organization.
The grant amount is up to 1,375,000 rubles; a total of 27.5 million rubles has been allocated from the regional budget. The funds can be used to pay a down payment on a home purchased through the social mortgage program, or to repay the principal or interest on an existing social mortgage agreement or a targeted loan.
To participate in the grant competition, you must prepare a package of documents, including a competitive application, passport, work record book, copies of educational and academic degree documents, and a certificate from your place of employment detailing your scientific performance. You must also provide documents identifying your family composition, confirming your housing conditions, income type and amount, and your place of residence.
Grant recipients must have worked in the scientific field for at least five years after signing the contract. In the event of early termination, the full grant amount must be repaid within 30 days.
Grant recipients are selected by a regional commission at the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences.
The decision on grant award will be made within 30 days of submitting all required documents. We recommend preparing them promptly.
