We invite you to participate in a competition to establish youth research laboratories at universities and research organizations under the jurisdiction of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education. This competition is being launched as part of the federal project "Universities for a Generation of Leaders" of the national project "Youth and Children." This is a unique opportunity for young researchers to receive government support and develop promising research projects.
Young scientists under 39 years of age, holding an academic degree and ready to lead a new research team, are eligible to participate. It is important that at least two-thirds of the laboratory team be young researchers, promising graduates, or senior students. Annual funding for each laboratory will amount to up to 17 million rubles.
Currently, 940 youth research laboratories have been established across the country, where thousands of young scientists, graduate students, and undergraduates are solving critical research problems and developing projects for various industries. An additional 200 such laboratories are planned to open by 2026.
Competition participants can propose their research for the new laboratories over a three-year period (2026–2028) in ten diverse areas. Two of these areas are particularly relevant for researchers at Volga Region University: "New Health Preservation Technologies" and "Humanities Research Areas."
Applications are accepted until September 26. They must be submitted in the "Science and Innovation" domain of the Unified Information System, with the mandatory selection of the appropriate area for the creation of new laboratories.
Don't miss the chance to realize your most ambitious scientific ideas, create a modern youth laboratory, and make a significant contribution to the advancement of science.
For detailed information about the competition, its areas, and application guidelines, please see the Regulations.
