On the eve of the International Day of Student Sport, a number of events took place at the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The first meeting took place in the concert hall, where Sergey Druzhkov, Head of the Centre for Social and Psychological Monitoring of Deviations, told the students about the initiative of the "DNA of Russia" project. The project aims to involve the academic community in accompanying public policy by introducing a new discipline into the university programme.

"In the 70s, 60s, if a person did not serve in the army, then there was something wrong with him... Russia lost this component, which no one even thought about before, because it was at some genetic level... The appearance of such a course may be late, but we need to try to put into people's hearts the important and main thing...", - explains Sergey Druzhkov.

Also at the meeting, Vice-Rector for Administration, Social Development and Youth Policy Natalia Grechannikova introduced the students to the federal programme "Service Learning": she explained the goals, objectives and missions of this training methodology.

Another part of the educational part of the healthy environment was the Quantum lecture session for first-year students, where speakers shared their experience and advice on how to get the most out of student life.
For example, Vladislav Sayfutdinov told the audience about the development opportunities offered by the Students' League and his experience at Liga Forum 2021 and 2022.
Timur Sultanov, a University activist, spoke about the importance of the role of environment in student life.
Ksenia Romanova, a 4th year KFU student, also shared her experience. The speaker chose the format of open dialogue. She revealed as much as possible the meaning of the concept of "team" and the secrets of its success. To the question "What was the impetus for the development of your path in student life?" Ksenia answered without hesitation: "The First League".

Adelia Pavlova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Digital Transformation, rounded off the lecture series. She explained what is the peculiarity of our mentality and how it affects labour activity.

"If you don't give yourself permission to do something, you will never do it," the Vice-Rector emphasised. The educational part of the Healthy Environment programme was as useful as possible for the students. The tips learnt at the meeting with the speakers can be applied not only in their studies, but also in all other spheres of life.

“First-year students can themselves, through thorns, make their way to a bright future, and we can simply direct them onto a path along which it will be much easier to do this,” this is how Vladislav Bologov, a member of the University’s student council, explains the purpose of the intensive course.

As part of the Healthy Environment, students of the sports university attended a meeting with a representative of the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized by the university’s career center. Representative of the department for implementing project activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Aliya Khabibullina told students about the project 100 leaders - Tatarstan of the future. The experts of the project were experienced entrepreneurs of the republic. The meeting was also attended by a graduate of one of the seasons of the project - Alena.

“I came to Kazan from the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, I didn’t know anyone. The project “100 Leaders - Tatarstan of the Future” helped me get used to the new environment. Thanks to the opportunities that the project provides, I was able to create something together with ideological people. Now, largely thanks to the project, I make money from SMM, which previously seemed unattainable to me,” the entrepreneur noted.

An equally useful and final part of the Healthy Environment was the meeting of students with teachers within the School of Curators.
