The Student Media Center of the Volga Region University of Physical Education, Sports, and Tourism is participating in the international festival "Get Involved in Sports – Be the First!", held in Noginsk, Moscow Region. The event brought together over 300 participants from 30 Russian regions, as well as Bulgaria, Spain, and Belarus.

The goal of the Festival is to promote sports education, enhance its prestige, and build a community of young media leaders in this field.

The festival program includes an educational component, including master classes from leading sports media experts and practical sessions on content creation. Participants will gain relevant skills for promoting sports initiatives and covering events on social media and in the media. The delegation from the Volga Region University of Sports and Tourism will enjoy five days of a rich educational, creative, and sports program.

Opening the festival, Tatyana Kolyaskina, Deputy Head of the Department of Publicity and Media Relations of the Department of Education, Science, and International Relations of the Russian Ministry of Sport, noted the event's significant social significance.

"The festival is now in its second year and continues to grow and expand its geographic reach. The primary goal of sports promotion is to reach as many people as possible to demonstrate the significance and importance of sports for everyone," emphasized Tatyana Kolyaskina.

The festival's opening featured performances by participants and delegations from across Russia and abroad. The festival runs until September 29.
