Povolzhsky University participates in the all-Russian programme ‘Service Learning’, which started on September 18. Since the first of September, 415 universities across Russia have been participating in the programme. 

Sergey Druzhkov, Director of the International Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, is in charge of the project development at Povolzhsky University.
ks to the programme, students learn and at the same time benefit society by applying professional skills to solve real social problems. The project is also aimed at sharing experience and strengthening co-operation between the participating universities.

‘I am confident that the Service Learning programme will expand the participation of Volga Region University students in projects aimed at solving social problems in Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan,’ said Natalia Grechannikova, Vice-Rector for Administration and Social Development of Volga Region University and supervisor of the project.
