About 100 simulators will be purchased for the Federal Rowing Centre. The announcement was made today during the meeting between Azat Kadyrov, First Deputy Minister of Sport of Russia, and Alexander Zyuzin, head coach of the national rowing team.
The meeting was also attended by Rafis Burganov, Rector of the Volga Region State University, Azat Sharapov, First Vice Rector of the University, and Andrey Feoktistov, Director of the Rowing Centre.
The meeting took place at one of the facilities of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism - the Federal Rowing Centre. As before, the training events of the Russian national rowing team take place at this facility.
The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of creating even more comfortable conditions for athletes' training. In the near future, the sports training centre will be equipped with additional rowing machines, cycle trainers, treadmills and steppers in order to ensure the quality and efficiency of training for the Russian national team, the student rowing league and students of the sports university.
