II All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "State, problems and ways of improvement of sports and health-improving training in gymnastics, dance sport and fitness", timed to celebrate the All-Russian Gymnastics Day, is held in Povolzhsky University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The conference was opened by Rafis Burganov, Rector of the university, and Emir Kharisov, President of the Tatarstan Acrobatic Rock'n'Roll and Boogie Woogie Federation and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Burevestnik Regional Public Organization.
While greeting the participants, Rafis Burganov mentioned that over 100 people from 22 higher education institutions, 2 sports schools of Olympic reserve and 2 sports clubs are taking part in the conference. He also stressed that 98 scientific works from 14 regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus, Moldova and Saudi Arabia were sent to the conference.
"We wish everyone productive and successful work at the conference, development of new guidelines for further scientific research and improvement of the system of training of athletes in sports gymnastics, dance sport and fitness," - stressed the rector of the university.
It should be noted that the conference is held for the second year in a row and is aimed at the exchange of advanced scientific and practical experience to improve the system of training athletes in the sports of gymnastics and dance sports, to optimize physical culture and health activities with different age and social groups of the population.
The conference is attended by representatives of Belarus, Saudi Arabia, Omsk, Moscow, Smolensk, Ufa, Volgograd, Kazan, Tyumen, St. Petersburg.
The day before, within the framework of the conference, a master class "Emotional intelligence EQ in the work of a trainer-teacher" was held. The speaker was Elena Arkadievna Volotskaya, Director of the Municipal Budgetary Institution “Sports School of the Olympic Reserve “Privolzhanka”.
Today at 14:00 there will be a master class for teachers of physical culture "Development of the intellect of younger students by means of rhythmic gymnastics." The two-day conference will end with a mass sports event "All-Russian Day of Gymnastics" at the Gymnastics Center at 15:00.
