Students of Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism became winners of the All-Russian competition "F.G. Valeev Cup". The competition was held at one of the facilities of the university - the Badminton Center - from 12th to 18th of September. Amir Khamidulin and Anastasia Redkina climbed onto the third step of the singles podium and brought two bronze medals to the Republic of Tatarstan's national team.
More than 440 young and adult athletes from 16 regions of the country took part in the competition.
Tatarstan's next start for badminton players will be the Russian Championships which will be held in October in Ramenskoye.
