A workshop on the implementation of the project "Inclusive Sport for all" was held at the Volga Region University. The meeting was attended by Egor Lebedev, Director General of the Special Olympics of Russia, Natalia Grechannikova, Vice-Rector for Administrative Work and Social Development of the Volga Region University, and representatives of various ministries of the republic.

During the meeting, issues of the development of inclusive sports were discussed. Yegor Lebedev thanked the university and noted the success of the first year of the project. "During the implementation of the social initiative, 11 mass sports events were organized and held, 20 unified teams in various sports were created, which were able to achieve great sporting success in just a year," the Director General of the Special Olympics said.

The significant positive effect of the project implementation is also noted by other participants of the workshop. Dmitry Lisitsin, head of the research project of the Inclusive Sports for All program, noted that Volga Region University is the main integrator of the Special Olympic Movement in the Republic of Tatarstan. And the most important thing is that the university has become a platform for scientific substantiation of the effectiveness of the Inclusive Sports for All project.
