At the final stage of the World series FINA diving in Kazan, a student of the Volga region Academy of sports Nikita Schleicher won a silver medal in tandem with Evgeny Kuznetsov in synchronous jumps from a 3-meter springboard.
The tournament was held in the Palace of water sports - one of the objects of the Volga region Academy.  Russian tandem Schleicher – Kuznetsov, gaining 401.94 points, lost to the Ukrainians Alexander Gorshkovozov and Oleg Kolodiy (403.26). The third result was shown by Mexicans jahel Castillo Huerta and Juan Celaya Hernandez (400,53).
In total, the Russians won 5 medals in Kazan - four silver and one bronze. Yevgeny Kuznetsov to the "silver" in synchronous jumps added medal of this rank in the individual jumping.
Alexander Bondar and Viktor Minibaev became the second in synchronous jumps from a tower, and Julia Timoshinin and Ekaterina Belyaeva in this kind of program showed the third result. Cooper took "silver" in individual jumps from a tower.


The head coach of the Russian team Svetlana Moiseeva, giving the results of the Russians ' performance in Kazan, noted the performance of Schleicher.

The next stage of the World series of diving will be held in London from 17 to 19 may. But the main nearest start is certainly the championship of Russia, which will take from may 27 to June 1, the Palace of water sports.
