At the final stage of the World series FINA diving in Kazan, a student of the Volga region Academy of sports Nikita Schleicher won a silver medal in tandem with Evgeny Kuznetsov in synchronous jumps from a 3-meter springboard.
The tournament was held in the Palace of water sports - one of the objects of the Volga region Academy. Russian tandem Schleicher – Kuznetsov, gaining 401.94 points, lost to the Ukrainians Alexander Gorshkovozov and Oleg Kolodiy (403.26). The third result was shown by Mexicans jahel Castillo Huerta and Juan Celaya Hernandez (400,53).
In total, the Russians won 5 medals in Kazan - four silver and one bronze. Yevgeny Kuznetsov to the "silver" in synchronous jumps added medal of this rank in the individual jumping.
