All out-of-town students from the Volga Region University are accommodated in Residential Cluster "C" within the Universiade Village. This complex consists of four high-rise residential buildings with a total area of 86,000 square meters and a capacity of 2,200 residents; the facilities opened on September 1, 2011. Students are accommodated in rooms designed for 3–4 people. Each room features a kitchen and a bathroom (toilet and shower). The rooms are furnished with new furniture and offer free internet access. The cost of accommodation in 2026 will be 2,150 rubles per month.
The Universiade Village represents a brand-new concept in Russia for a complex designed for student living, study, work, and active leisure. The residential complex is located in the Privolzhsky District of Kazan, bordered by Zorge, Parina, and Mavlyutova Streets and Prospekt Pobedy (Victory Avenue). The neighborhood is served by public transport, including bus route No. 47 and trolleybus No. 8. The travel time to the city center is 45 minutes. The "Prospekt Pobedy" metro station is located near the Universiade Village. Also within walking distance are the sports facilities of the Volga Region Academy of Sport and Tourism: the Burevestnik swimming pool, the Zilant sports complex, the Badminton Center, the Tennis Academy, and the Gymnastics Center.
The Universiade Village was conceived as a student campus and currently stands as the largest project of its kind in Russia. Occupancy began on August 30, 2010. Today, it is home to approximately 4,000 students from the Republic of Tatarstan, other Russian regions, and countries near and far abroad. A health center and a pharmacy operate around the clock within the secured Universiade Village complex, which also provides postal services, a public order station, and an emergency dispatch service.
The Universiade Village has been designated a "Health Zone" subject to strict internal regulations. Active social and educational work is conducted with students in collaboration with university representatives, aiming to foster a high standard of moral and ethical character among Kazan students.
